Retiring Corpus Christi Principal Honored by Students

Michele Murillo retires at the end of this school year.

The entire Corpus Christi School student body, faculty and staff gave retiring Principal Michelle Murillo a surprise celebration last week.

Every class worked with their teachers to prepare a special song or poem to present to her as their gift.

The students also prepared gifts for Murillo in their art classes. Some of the  performances included the faculty singing "Won't You Stay Just a Little Bit Longer."  Murillo was surprised and some songs brought tears to everyone's eyes such as the Kindergarten rendition of "Edelweiss" changed to "Principal."
