Santa Spreads Holiday Cheer to Heights Youngsters

He made his list and checked it twice. Then he came all the way to Hasbrouck Heights to visit with all the little children who gathered at the library Monday evening to see Santa Claus.

First the children had fun listening to children’s librarian Marie Joyce read them “Hurry Up Santa” as they waited patiently for the man in the big red suit to arrive.

After a few songs and more stories, the kids let out a great big cheer as Santa entered the room, took his seat and read them “Twas the Night Before Christmas.”

Each child got to sit on Santa’s lap for photo opps with their siblings and their Moms and Dads.

The Friends of the Library, which sponsored the event, gave each youngster some treats and a coloring book so they can enjoy more holiday fun at home.
