Risotto House Opens Its Doors to the Heights Community

New Italian restaurant opens on the Boulevard.

Open less than three weeks and already The Risotto House looks to be on its way to becoming a favorite amongst area patrons.

The Italian restaurant known for its risotto, as its name suggests, opened officially a little more than two weeks ago, the day before the borough’s annual street fair.

The team behind this new Italian restaurant in Heights is the same one that brought the original Risotto House to Rutherford.

Manager James Tito explained the Rutherford Risotto House has been around for about 10 years. Now the team is expanding with the opening this second location at 203 Boulevard in Heights, between Hamilton and Franklin avenues.

Tito says the team knew this was a good neighborhood and good location for a second restaurant.

The same owners, chefs and staff strive to bring the same dining experience they do at their Rutherford location. As per the Risotto House website the team takes great pride in providing a unique dining experience and "delivering world-class authentic Italian food" with personal service.

The restaurant is BYOB and is open every day except Monday, which Tito said could change in the future as they hope to one day be open all seven days.

The place has been known to fill up quickly in the evenings with many people call to make reservations. Tito recommends that parties of four and more call in advance to reserve a table.
