The Week Ahead: BOE Hosts Special Forum and Regular Meeting, Library Holds Retirement Seminar

A look ahead into the week of Feb. 14

The week starts off with Valentine’s Day leading into another week full of activities and events taking place in town. Here’s a rundown of what is coming up this week.

Meetings
The will hold a special meeting Tuesday at 8 p.m. to meet with the final two candidates for the Special Education Director.

Also on Thursday, the Board of Education will host its regular public meeting at 8 p.m. Both meetings will be held in the Eglow Media Center at the .

Events

At the on Tuesday night the public library will present a free seminar "Learn About Nine Mistakes That Could Derail Your Retirement" on Tuesday, Feb. 15 from 7 to 8:30 p.m. The discussion will be led by James A. Mathieu and Todd J. Jonasz, financial advisors of Wells Fargo Advisors.

Sports

In basketball the Aviators will take on Ridgefield Park High School on Monday. On Tuesday the boys basketball team and the Lady Aviators will compete against Hawthorne High School.

The Lady Aviators varsity basketball team will play Queen of Peace High School on Thursday.

Friday brings both boys and girls basketball teams competing against St. Mary High School.

Coed varsity indoor track competes at Fairleigh Dickinson in Teaneck on Tuesday.
