Police Proudly Carry Torch Through Heights [PHOTOS]

Hasbrouck Heights police once again took part in the Special Olympics Law Enforcement Torch Run.

Proudly holding the torch symbolizing the upcoming Special Olympics, which the Hasbrouck Heights police continuously works to support, officers ran along the Boulevard Friday morning as they took part in the annual Law Enforcement Torch Run.

The police department raised about $2,500 for the Special Olympics this year which they do through fundraising at events like the annual Street Fair dunk tank.

As the officers carried the torch from the Lodi border all the way through to the Wood-Ridge border where they passed it on to their officers, neighborhood children ran alongside taking part in the run.
