Bible Baptist Church's popular Halloween Trunk or Treat event, known to draw hundreds of youngsters each year, has been cancelled for Sunday, Oct. 28 due to the inclement weather conditions expected caused by the storm headed to the area. The church sent out word of the cancellation Sunday morning and are advising all that it has been rescheduled for Sunday, Nov. 4 from 4 to 6 p.m. The event which features car trunks full of candy, bounce house, a giant slide, hot cocoa and cookies for the youngsters is designed to provide a safe and fun environment for children to enjoy Halloween. Trunk or Treat is geared towards children in grades 1 thru 6.
