Family-Owned Pizza Restaurant In Bergen County Forced To Close After 29 Years
The matriarch of a popular pizzeria in Bergen County announced this week that due to "difficult situations," it will close after 29 years.

BERGEN COUNTY, NJ — Connie Panicucci, the face of Napoli pizzeria in Lodi for 29 years, announced Tuesday that the restaurant will close.
Panicucci often appeared in videos on social media, touting everything from a healthy "salad pizza" to lunch specials.
"It is breaking my heart to post this because Napoli is all I’ve known for 29 years," she wrote. "I raised my kids there and have seen your families' kids raised. I just want to say thank you for the overwhelming support from everyone who has reached out."
She added, "I have done everything that I could showing up everyday and trying my best to just make it another day. Thank you from my family and I for everyone’s generosity and kind words and for supporting us through the years."

Panicucci said that the family had no choice but to close, after trying to manage several "difficult situations" regarding the business.
