VFW and Elks Lodge Host Events Saturday, Junior Woman's Club Plans Fundraiser

The along with the Ladies Auxiliary will host a Valentine’s Day Dance this coming Saturday, Feb. 12 at the VFW Hall on Veterans place.  Cost is $30 in advance and $35 at the door. The cost is $25 for high school students. RSVP was requested by Feb. 7. Dinner includes classic Caesar salad, baked ziti and chicken florentino. The Junior Woman’s Club is planning a St. Patrick’s Day party for Saturday, March 5 at the VFW Hall. Proceeds from the fundraiser will benefit the club’s charities and local scholarship fund. DJ and Irish entertainment will be featured and dinner includes corned beef and cabbage/chicken and beer, wine and soda. Cost is $40 and attendees must be 21 and over. Raffles, 50/50 and door prizes will also be conducted. Those interested can call Cara at 201-288-0479. The Junior Woman’s Club meets on the second Thursday of the month at the at 8 p.m.
