Then a drone company stepped in (nbcnewyork.com) — A lost dog drama unfolded right next door in Johnson Park, which stretches into Highland Park, when a family’s 3‑year‑old pup disappeared for nine days. As temperatures dropped and snow approached, a drone rescue company used thermal imaging to locate the dog deep in tall reeds, allowing a friend to reach her. The dog is now recovering after vet care, and her owner calls the $350 drone fee priceless.
