• Raccoon Tests Positive for Rabies in Hightstown, Public Urged to Report Any Interaction (tapinto.net) — Health officials confirm a raccoon near the Hightstown Library tested positive for rabies, and anyone who may have encountered it—or whose pets may have—around December 11 is urged to contact local health authorities. Residents are advised to watch for oddly behaving wildlife, avoid contact, wash any possible exposure area, and immediately reach out to a medical provider and the West Windsor Township Department of Human Services.

• Berman drives Hopewell Valley past Hightstown (nj.com subscription) — Hightstown boys basketball let a home opener lead slip away as Hopewell Valley stormed back in the fourth quarter, holding the Rams to just one point in a 50–43 comeback win. Jude Berman led Hopewell Valley with 16 points, while Jackson White paced Hightstown with 12.
