3 Eye Doctors Open New Practice On Storied Hoboken Corner
Dr. Messinger and two others have moved their practice to a corner that has hosted eye doctors for more than 100 years.

HOBOKEN, NJ — The eyes have it.
After Dr. Claudio D'Alberti retired from his longtime eye practice at 1126 Washington St. over a year ago, three eye doctors have moved into the space.
Dr. Robert Messinger, whose practice was further south on the block, has moved in. He's also brought Dr. Qiong Chen and Dr. Alice Tang.

The website for the practice notes that eye doctors have anchored that corner for more than 100 years.
"He continues the tradition of a long line of esteemed optometrists at the location, which began in 1923," notes the site.

Dr. Messinger serves as the Clinical Director of the Helen Keller Services for the Blind in New York City. According to the site, he's "an honors graduate of the SUNY College of Optometry. His particular expertise lies in contact lens and eyewear fitting, ocular health examinations and low vision therapies and devices."
