Amtrak Wire Issues Delay NJ Transit On Monday (Again)
Same delay, different day: NJ Transit trains were suspended, then delayed heading into and out of Penn Station on Monday night, June 24.

NEW JERSEY — Once again, NJ Transit train service was temporarily suspended in and out of Penn Station New York on Monday, June 24 due to Amtrak overhead wire issues. Less than an hour after the suspension was announced, the rail carriers said that service had resumed, but with 60-minute delays.
NJ Transit posted around 7 p.m.:
(1/2) Rail service into and out of PSNY is suspended due to Amtrak overhead wire issues in one of the Hudson River tunnels. Midtown Direct trains are being diverted to Hoboken.

Riders were diverted to Hoboken station, with passengers directed to use buses or PATH train service to New York City. NJ Transit passes were cross-honored on buses and PATH trains.
