Appleseed Responds To Zimmer's Letter
NJ non-profit responded to the mayor's letter about the hospital sale.

The Hoboken Municipal Hospital Authority is still negotiating with HUMC Holdco LLC to finalize the sale of the Hoboken University Medical Center, said HMHA Chairwoman Toni Tomarazzo before the weekend.
Appleseed, a New Jersey non-profit, is now asking the mayor to have the Attorney General complete a review of the process of selling the hospital, making sure a public process was followed before the sale goes through.
Appleseed's states in its letter—which is attached to this story and dated March 11, 2011—that it wants to make sure the sale is complacent with the Community Healthcare Assets Protection Act.

In the letter, Renee Steinhagen, also states that the organization believes that the City Council has a role in reviewing the Authority's decision.
The Authority has been criticized for not being transparent enough about the sale and the negotiations. .
