JERSEY CITY, NJ — Barcade, a popular Jersey City bar with locations around the Northeast, closed their Grove Street location in spring, saying they might reopen elsewhere in the city someday. But now they're selling their liquor license.

"Hey, Jersey City - our liquor license is for sale," they wrote on social media. "This is a Type 33 license and comes guaranteed with GOOD TIMES! Reach out to us here or at info@barcade.com if you are interested."

They added, "Please note that this does NOT mean that we won't re-open in JC, it just means we don't need this license at the moment. Plus, this could make a great last-minute Christmas gift!"

When one of the commenters estimated it could cost $350,000, they replied, "Makes a great stocking stuffer!"

The bar was open for 14 years before closing in April. It had more than a dozen arcade and pinball machines, and served drinks and bar food.
