Looking for bargains in Hoboken was easy on Saturday afternoon, as the city held a city-wide yard sale. On most corners, front yards and even some stoops, people showed off their belongings in the hopes that someone else would snag them away.
Many people sold clothes, shoes—my favorites: size 13 bowling shoes for $5—and furniture.

Of course there was the fair share of home made cupcakes, lemonade and other consumable goods. But, mostly, it was just a nice way to spend a Saturday shopping for some unusual items.
