City Adjusts Shuttle Service After Seniors' Complaints

To run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The city has re-instated the senior shuttle between the hours of 10 a.m. and 4 p.m., after senior citizens last week complained about the changed service.

The senior shuttle was replaced by one of the "Hops" recently, when the city expanded that crosstown bus service.

The Red Hop will continue to operate during peak hours—from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.—but will run the Senior Shuttle route from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., according to a press release from the city. Seniors will continue to ride for free on both the Senior Shuttle and Hop buses.

The Blue Hop and Green Hop lines will continue to run as previously scheduled.

The city's release also stated that the city is looking to buy more buses and run the three Hop lines uninterrupted, as well as lengthen the hours of the senior shuttle.
