To perform a study of the northwestern part of town.

The city announced on Wednesday that it received a $75,000 grant from the Port Authority and New Jersey’s Local Assistance Program for the preparation of a redevelopment study for the properties located in the City’s north end.

The Port Authority notified the City of the award on Dec. 28, 2010 and initiated the public process to request proposals from urban planning professional firms, the release stated.

Proposals were due on January 18, and through the Port Authority’s professional services selection process, the contract was awarded to the firm Clarke Caton Hintz on Feb. 4, according to the city’s release.
