
A self-employed delivery man from Washington Township reported to Hoboken police that $7,000—$5,000 in cash and $2,000 in checks—went missing from his parked car on Park Avenue and Ninth Street Tuesday around 12:30 p.m., according to a police report on the matter.
The man told Hoboken police that he did not detect forced entry to the vehicle, according to the police report.
According to the police report, the 75-year-old works for JMJ Provisions—for which no web site could be found after a quick google search—and stopped in Hoboken to make two deliveries; one at Joe's Meat Market on 918 Washington Street and one at Trugulio's Meat Market at 1000 Park Avenue. (The police report did not elaborate on what the man was delivering.)

Between the two deliveries, the 75-year-old parked his car in front of 936 Park Ave., police said. After coming back to his car, he noticed that his blue bag with daily receipts, police said.
No arrests were made.
