Discover Hoboken History With Hudson County Fair

Explore Hoboken history with an educational day of family friendly fun at New Jersey City University. The free event will celebrate the state’s 350th anniversary by spotlighting Hudson County, “Where NJ History Began!” Check out a video glimpse of Hoboken’s historic journey in the video below.
The Hudson County History Fair 2014 will take place at New Jersey City University’s Gilligan Student Union at 2039 Kennedy Boulevard, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 18, offering fun and educational events for the whole family, including a treasure hunt for kids, an antiques evaluation (for small, portable antiques) by one of three experts, talks by notable authors and scholars, a genealogy workshop, and four documentary film screenings.
The main exhibition room will host information booths on history of the municipalities in Hudson County and related nonprofit organizations. Refreshments will be available for purchase on site.
