GTK Restaurant To Close Jersey City Location, Hoboken To Stay Open
A downtown Jersey City restaurant will close, while its newer Hoboken location will stay open, said the owners.
JERSEY CITY, NJ — The Jersey City location of GTK, a restaurant serving up a variety of cuisines — meant to mimic the variety of "ghost trucks" — will close, the owners said Friday.
However, they will keep their newer location, on Washington Street in Hoboken, open — and it can deliver to the same Jersey City locations as the original, they say.
The owners said in a message, "It's been real, it's been fun, but we can't say the past few months at our OG location in Jersey City have been real fun. After over five years at 356 Varick Street, our lights literally aren't all on and we aren't home. ..Our Varick Street location being forced to close has us deep in our feels. But with Hoboken embracing the gtk way and with a bibger, better Jersey City home in the works, we have so much hope."

They also say they're changing their name back from Go-To Kitchen to the original Ghost Truck Kitchen.
The restaurant is known for healthy, charbroiled chicken wings, burritos, sandwiches, Asian eats, desserts, and more.
