Famed Carlo's Bakery to Close Hoboken Doors for Renovations

Home of the reality TV hit, "Cake Boss," the historic bakery will temporarily close its 100-year-old shop for renovations next month.

Carlo’s Bakery, home of the “Cake Boss” reality TV hit, will close its Hoboken location for renovations next month.

The 100-year-old Hoboken bakery will temporarily close its historic Washington Street location on Feb. 17 through early March, according to the bakery’s Facebook page. The iconic eatery has yet to announce an official reopening date.

“Our original bakery in Hoboken is where it all began and after 100 years, we figured it was time for a facelift!” a rep stated on Facebook. “You guys are the best fans and we can’t wait to have you visit when we reopen.”

Fans with an insatiable sweet tooth can still place cake orders at any of the bakery’s other locations in ‪‎Times Square, Westfield, Morristown, Ridgewood, Red Bank, Marlton and even Las Vegas.
