Families Pedal Together on Father's Day History Tour
The Hoboken Housing Authority held its Second Annual Bike Rodeo Tour of the city's riverfront on Saturday.
Participants in the city's second annual Father’s Day Bike Rodeo, a national Housing and Urban Development initiative intended to bring children together with their fathers, rode through the streets of Hoboken Saturday on a history tour.
Riders met at Connors School in the morning, where the children were greeted with new bicycles and helmets courtesy of Haddad Electric and The Jubilee Center, before getting a safety talk and heading out on the day's tour.
Bike Hoboken's Brian Wagner led the tour, which focused on the waterfront and included historical commentary from Dennis English of the Hoboken Historical Museum.
