Flood Watch Issued And Heavy Rain Expected In Hoboken Saturday
Forecasters revised their prediction and say 1-2 inches of rain could fall per hour in storms in the Hoboken area Saturday.
HOBOKEN, NJ — A flood watch has been issued for the Hoboken area, with potentially 1-2 inches of rain falling in late afternoon or early Saturday evening.
Flash flooding can occur when more than .08 inches of rain fall per hour, particularly near high tide. In Hoboken, high tide is expected at 8:53 p.m. Saturday.
