Friday in Hoboken: Ricciardi Sentencing

*Former Hoboken information technology director Patrick Ricciardi, who pleaded guilty in March to illegally intercepting and leaking the confidential email communications of the mayor and two high-ranking mayor's office employees, will be sentenced Friday at 11 a.m.

*Tickets are now on sale for Hoboken's Ninth Annual Spaghetti Dinner Block Party. This year's block party, set for Thursday, Aug. 29 on the walkway along Sinatra Drive between 1st and 2nd streets, costs $20 for adults and $10 for children 12 and under.

*City sports leagues, teams and community organizations may now apply for permits to use the multi-use field at 1600 Park, whose long-awaited opening is expected within the next couple weeks. To apply for field space, download a permit request form and email it to recreation@hobokennj.org or call the Recreation Division at (201)-420-2012.

*Prix fixe lunch and dinner deals are available at 22 participating Hoboken restaurants as part of Hudson Restaurant Week.
