Get Your Hoboken St. Patty's Day Flyers Here

You know it by now, behave yourself on March 6, or it could cost you $2,000

It's been a point of discussion since the beginning of the year: The St. Patrick's Day Parade on March 6.

This year—for the first time—fines can be as high as $2,000. Although Mayor Zimmer has made it clear that the fines are not supposed to be used as a way to pay for the parade, . This amount is mostly made up of overtime the city has to pay to the police.

Chairman of the Zoning Board Anthony Soares sent out "free guerilla" flyers that Hoboken residents can post on their windows and that will be hung around town. The City of Hoboken will also put up posters throughout Hoboken to warn people of the penalty of behaving badly during the St. Patrick's Day Parade—and in the hours afterward.
