Governor Identifies Schools To Be Renovated; No Hoboken Schools on the List
The governor identified ten schools that will receive funding for improvement and renovations on Tuesday afternoon.

Gov. Chris Christie announced ten schools that will be renovated with funds from the Schools Development Authority construction program, according to a press release from the Governor's office.
No Hoboken schools were on the list.

It's still unclear when the school will be renovated. Former Superintendent Peter Carter, said he had sporadically been checking in with the state to see when the funding would come in. He said that the answer he got was "we haven't forgotten," but did not get any details.
By only naming ten specific projects to renovate in 2011, according to the governor's press release, "We will move forward smartly and deliberatively to deliver value to the school districts and to our taxpayers."

In Hudson County two elementary schools in Jersey City will be receiving funding, as well as the Harry L. Bain Elementary School in West New York.
