Hey Hoboken, Jersey City, And NYC: Drone Show To Replace Fireworks
UPDATE: The fireworks scheduled for the Propelify Innovation Festival in Hoboken on Thursday have been replaced with a drone show.
HUDSON COUNTY, NJ — The fireworks planned for Thursday's Propelify Innovation Festival have been replaced with a drone show, the city of Hoboken said.
Residents of Hoboken, Jersey City, and Manhattan often complain when they hear unexpected fireworks late at night. In fact, dogs have run away and babies have howled after hearing the loud noises.
But the may not have to be surprised with loud sounds tonight — just unusual sights on the river.

The annual Propelify Innovation Festival runs all day on the Hoboken waterfront on Thursday.
The festival opens at 11 a.m. near 12th Street, on the Hoboken waterfront — across the river from midtown Manhattan.
