Hoboken Police Looking for Female Bank Robbery Suspect

Hoboken police responded to reports of a bank robbery at Valley National Bank on Third and River Streets on Wednesday afternoon, around 1 p.m.

Roughly $3,000 was taken, one source confirmed. The woman handed the teller a note that stated that it was a hold up, after which the cash was handed over.

As of Wednesday afternoon it was still unclear how old the suspect was, but police were on the look out for a African American woman with short hair, dressed in all black.

This incident comes a day after on Tuesday afternoon.
