Jersey City Medical Center To Host National Women’s Health Events

Free HPV vaccines, cervical screenings and mammograms will be provided.

Jersey City Medical Center, an RWJBarnabas Health facility, announced two National Women’s Health Month healthcare events on May 6 and 13.

On Saturday, May 6, from 8 a.m.- 12 p.m., eligible people can receive free HPV vaccines and cervical screenings. Women 18 and older are recommended for the HPV9 vaccine, while those 21 and older are recommended for cervical screenings. The event will be held at the Madeline Fiadini LoRe Foundation Infusion Center on 414 Grand Street, Suite 9. To schedule an appointment, please call 201-915-2730 and indicate which service is needed.

Additionally, the Medical Center will also provide free mammogram screenings for uninsured women on Saturday, May 13, from 9 a.m.- 1 p.m. We will host the Women’s Health event at Grove Street on Newark Avenue, 3rd floor. To schedule an appointment, please call 201-915-2400 and ask for Marco. Registration is required as screening appointments are limited.
