Hoboken Fire Museum
There are photos, exhibits, toys, and pieces of fire equipment for the very young and old to admire. There's also a weekly storytime. It's open 12-5 on weekends. Find out more here.

Hoboken Historical Museum: Crafts And More
Hoboken's Historical Museum has weekly art sessions for young kids, and also for kids 3-11. Check out their events or just take the kids to learn about Hoboken history. The website is here.

Try Hoboken's 35 Parks, Dog Runs, And Sprinklers

Take A Nature Walk In Liberty State Park
Liberty State Park in Jersey City offers several activities each month: nature walks, history and architecture lectures, and scavenger hunts. They also offer lectures on the now defunct "Blue Comet" train from Jersey City to Atlantic City, which was featured on a "Sopranos" episode.

The state-run nature center in Jersey City has been closed since Superstorm Sandy, and that's an awful long time. But Liberty State Park's nature center has finally reopened this week. Find out more here.
'Main Street Pops': Monthly Outdoor Markets
The monthly Main Street Pops artisan markets run one Sunday each month under the 14th Street Viaduct from Hoboken to Jersey City. The markets often have entertainment for families, and kids can enjoy nearby shops on 14th Street as well. Find out about Main Street Pops events here or here.

Liberty Science Center Updates
Got a dinosaur-obsessed child? Among Liberty Science Center's exhibits for all ages, the T. Rex exhibit opened in May. Click here to learn more.

Storytime In The Park
Little City Books has announced an outdoor storytime in the park. "Beloved Little City Books storytime reader Laura is back this summer with free outdoor gatherings," they noted. "Classic and new picture books, songs and poems."
