Man Nabbed In 2022 Assault That Left Victim Unconscious In Hoboken Bar: Police

Hoboken police headed to the Bon Jovi rest area to arrest a man who was wanted for a 2022 assault in a local bar, they said.

HOBOKEN, NJ — A man who was wanted in a 2022 assault in a Hoboken bar was arrested in Central Jersey earlier this month, according to police.

Jason Talanquines, 35, of Staten Island, was charged with aggravated assault, said Hoboken police.

Police said that on April 4, they headed to the Bon Jovi Rest Stop in South Amboy to meet Howell police and take custody of Talanquines.

Talanquines was wanted in Hoboken for an aggravated assault that took place at Wicked Wolf Tavern on Sinatra Drive in December 2022, police said.

Police said the assault left the victim unconscious with several injuries.

A follow-up investigation led by Detective Sgt. Adam Colon identified Talanquines as the suspect, police said.

He was taken to Hoboken Police Headquarters for processing, then brought to the Hudson County Correctional Facility, Hoboken police said.
