One Of Jersey City's Most Popular Events, Bicycle 'Ward Tour,' Returns
Join 6,000 bicyclists touring all six of Jersey City ward's this coming weekend and wind up at a jazz festival.

JERSEY CITY, NJ — Do you want to get to know New Jersey's second most populous city a bit more intimately? Or do you just want exercise, camaraderie, and jazz?
One of the most popular events there, the Jersey City Ward Tour, takes place this Sunday, June 4.
As many as 3,000 bicyclists will convene to follow a route through all six of the city's wards, from the western slope to the waterfront. The tour ends at a Jazz Festival.

The event covers 15 miles. Here are the basics:
- Starts at City Hall at 11 a.m. sharp. But the coffee, live music, and some bikers will be there as early as 9 a.m.
- It ends at the Jersey City Jazz Festival at Exchange Place, with live music, lots of vendors, and Ward Tour swag.
- The organizers say, "All are welcome! This is a casual social ride, not a race."
Standard admission is $10, but you can donate more.
