Sandy-Ravaged Small Business Owners Encouraged to Attend Grant Workshop

Representatives from the New Jersey Economic Development Authority will hold a grant workshop Tuesday at Hoboken City Hall for small business owners who sustained damage in Superstorm Sandy

Small business owners who suffered losses in Superstorm Sandy can learn about recovery grant opportunities Tuesday at a meeting with state Economic Development Authority representatives at Hoboken City Hall.

NJEDA reps will offer an overview of the Stronger NJ Business Grant Program and provide instructions on how to apply for grants at a 5 p.m. meeting in the City Hall basement conference room.

A total of $260 million has been allocated for the Stronger NJ Business Grant Program, which launched last month and awards grants of up to $50,000 per location for small businesses that sustained at least $5,000 in Sandy-related physical damage.
