Wallace School Students Celebrate Red, White and Blue Day
The students gathered in the gym of the Wallace school on Tuesday afternoon, to honor Hoboken's veterans.
Patriotism oozed from the Wallace School gym on Tuesday afternoon, during a ceremony to honor Red, White and Blue Day as middle schoolers waved the American flag and honored Hoboken's veterans.
Health and Human Services Director Leo Pellegrini was there to present a proclamation on behalf of the mayor.
"Be proud of your country," Interim Superintendent Walter Rusak told the students, whom he called "the future of our nation."
