WiFi in Frank Sinatra Park and Washington Street

Optimum WiFi customers in the Mile Square will have a couple more options to whip out their computers in public. 

In Hudson County the following locations have been added: 

Washington Street (Hoboken), Frank Sinatra Park (Hoboken), Waterfront Park (Weehawken), Alexander Hamilton View (Weehawken) and Hudson Park (Weehawken). 

According to a press release sent out on Thursday, "Current Optimum Online customers can access Optimum WiFi using portable WiFi-enabled devices like the iPhone, iPad, BlackBerry, and laptop computers using a simple sign-on screen. Once a customer logs into the service by entering their Optimum User ID and password, the network delivers speeds of up to 3.0 Mbps downstream and 1.5 Mbps upstream. Recently, Optimum WiFi added the "Automatic Sign In" feature that makes using the Optimum WiFi network easier than ever. Users can sign in to Optimum WiFi just once, and their WiFi-enabled device will automatically connect to the network at any of the thousands of locations where Optimum WiFi is available."
