World Pong Tour Comes to Hoboken

The World Pong Tour stops at Wicked Wolf in Hoboken Sunday for an 8 p.m. tournament.

Put your college-honed ability to lob a ping pong ball into a plastic dixie cup to the test this Sunday night when Wicked Wolf hosts the third stop on this summer's 12-tournament World Pong Tour.

The Wicked Wolf Classic, a pongball tournament with a $500 purse, is open to men and women 21 years of age and older. The fun starts at 8 p.m.

Teams must have one male player and one female player, and can register online for $15 per player or call (914)-437-5401 to sign up. If you register online, bring a printed receipt to the event.

Sunday's tournament-winning team is automatically entered in the Super Pong at the Westchester County Center on Sept. 21.

The World Pong Tour was established in 2006 as an alcohol-free alternative to the popular drinking game, beer pong (rather than beer, pongball cups are filled with water).  Since its founding, WPT has facilitated over 500 events around the country including leagues, tournaments, corporate events and fundraisers.
