Police said that the one-car accident resulted in no injuries, but caused the downed wire. Cresci Boulevard is secured and passable with a detour through the school parking lot, police said.

Earlier in the day, parents were able to pick up their children at regular dismissal time on Carlow Way, behind the school, and a number of parents praised school officials on social media for a smooth dismissal. Bus students were safely escorted to Briscoe Terrace to their respective buses, according to the police update on social media.
