Road work originally set to begin on Monday night and continue through Friday has been postponed, police said.
HAZLET, NJ — Road work that was supposed to begin on Monday and continue throughout the week has been postponed, Hazlet Police said.
According to an update posted on the Hazlet Township Police Department's Facebook page, road work that was supposed to begin Monday night has been postponed until the New Year.
The road work involves utility poles being installed and line work being done on Bethany Road near the railroad crossing.

Due to this road work, a nightly closure was set to begin on Monday and continue through Friday.
The closure was set to begin at 8 p.m. each night with an expected re-opening at 5 a.m.
