Another Closure On Holmdel Road
It's been a while, but Holmdel Road has a partial closure again on Friday, in the area of a gas utility project.
HOLMDEL, NJ — On Friday, Sept. 8, Holmdel Road between Roberts Road and Route 520 will be closed from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., police advise.
Businesses are open and motorists should be prepared to follow a detour, police said.
Road work in the area had been part of a New Jersey Natural Gas Co. gas regulator project that the state Board of Public Utilities is allowing to continue while the project is being contested in court by the township.

Earlier this summer, the road saw several closures but none have taken place recently until the one planned for Friday.
