Coffee With A Cop Day In Hazlet

HAZLET, NJ — The first Wednesday in October is National Coffee with a Cop Day, and in Hazlet you can mark the day at the Hazlet Starbucks, 3201 Route 35, from 8 a.m. to noon.

Local officers will meet residents, have conversations, and answer any questions or concerns this Wednesday, Oct. 4.

National Coffee with a Cop Day brings men and women in uniform together with their communities to connect in a casual setting. And many departments hold these gatherings at other times of the year, too.

The national observance encourages communities to sponsor an event that will bring citizens and those on patrol together. The events provide an opportunity for open dialogue and to improve communication.
