Donate Used Bicycles On Two More Days This Week In Holmdel

The Holmdel Department of Public Works extends bicycle collection this week.

HOLMDEL, NJ — Holmdel Township has extended its collection of used bicycles to two more days this week: Wednesday, Nov. 30, and Friday, Dec. 2.

Residents can drop off their used adult/child bicycles at the Department of Public Works building, 14 Crawfords Corner Road, on those days during normal business hours.

The hours are 7 a.m. to noon, and then 12:30 p.m. to 3 p.m., according to the department.

The department said the bikes are collected for RideWise.

According to its website, RideWise is giving adults in need of reliable transportation a new ride through its program, BikeConnect. Bike donations help it provide bicycles to residents in need of transportation to work. The organization is based in Somerset County, according to its website.
