DWI Checkpoint Outside Florida Georgia Line's NJ Concert

Planning on drinking at the Florida Georgia Line concert at P.N.C. Bank Arts Center? Plan for a sober driver, too.

HOLMDEL, NJ — New Jersey State Police will hold a sobriety checkpoint at the Florida Georgia Line concert this Thursday at PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel.

During the checkpoint, state troopers will be on the lookout for signs of impairment due to drugs and alcohol. Police did not say if the checkpoint would begin before or after the concert.

Anyone planning on drinking at the concert should have a plan to get some safely, either with a sober driver, ride share app, or public transportation.

"It’s not worth the risk of hurting or killing yourself, a friend, a loved one, or innocent motorist," state police said.

If you see a driver that you believe is a hazard because of their driving, police ask that you dial #77 to report it, and be ready with a description of the car and its location.
