Hazlet Swim Club Registration Now Open For 2023 Season

Hazlet residents, prepare your towels and sunscreen: registration is now open for the Hazlet Swim Club this year.

HAZLET, NJ - Hazlet residents, prepare your towels and sunscreen: registration is now open for the Hazlet Swim & Tennis Club this year.

The swim club is slated to open in May for the 2023 season, according to a municipal notice from the township. The facility is located in the municipal complex and features an Olympic-size main pool, a diving tank, an intermediate pool and a splash fountain, as well as tennis courts, playgrounds, a zip line, lounging areas and a concession stand.

Hours of operation beginning May 27 will be 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on weekends; starting June 26, it is set to open daily through Sept. 5, the township said.

Preseason (before April 30) membership pricing starts at $150 for senior residents (including three guest passes), $325 for individual resident passes, $515 for resident plus-one passes, $550 for resident parent/two children passes and $675 for five-guest family resident passes, according to the township website.

Non-resident passes start at $425 for individuals and $245 for seniors (including two guest passes) before April 30. Entry for infants under three years old (as of May 31, 2023) will be free. Applicants under 18 years old must have parental consent. Children 12 and under must also be accompanied by an adult.

Day passes for the 2023 season will start at $20 for those 11 years old and older, with prime-time weekend/holiday day passes going for up to $35 during peak hours.

Gate passes and guest passes will be available in May, the township said. Swim lessons starting a $45 for members ($125 for non-member, non-residents) and reserved picnic/group passes will also be available.

Residents can sign up online starting Feb. 8 with a debit or credit card at Hazlet.Recdesk.com or fill out a paper form linked here and pay by personal check, credit card or cash. Applications can be mailed or dropped off to Hazlet Recreation (1766 Union Avenue, Hazlet, NJ 07730).

Residents may also sign up for passes at the Recreation Office on the second floor of the Hazlet Municipal Building between 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.
