What drove you to seek public office?
What drove me to seek office was me feeling there was a need for common sense governing, and what better way to help a town improve than to be part of the decision-making process?

My desire is to help. I believe this was a practical and effective way to do so.
What sets you apart from other candidates?
I hope to bring integrity to the office and the people of Hazlet.
I want our residents to thrive and I want our residents to care for their families, taking comfort in knowing I am trying to do things the right way.
What do you see as the biggest issue facing Hazlet, and how will you resolve it?
The biggest issue facing Hazlet is inflation.
I am proud that our committee has handled the budget in a fiscally responsible way. We have not raised our portion of the budget in the last two years, while still creating more quality for our residents with new parks and new roads.
What are past accomplishments or experiences that make you qualified for this position?
I have served in my church for decades in many capacities. I have served as an athletics coach both when my children played and after my children stopped playing. I have worked in investment banking for 30+ years so I am financially conservative. I have served on the committee for the last 2 years.
I believe that combination allows me to be well-versed in many of the issues and opportunities our committee comes across.
Name one thing about Hazlet that always makes you smile.
I love to see children playing in the various Hazlet parks, enjoying just some of what this town has to offer. Kids laughing and enjoying living here brings me joy.
