HOLMDEL, NJ — Holmdel students were among those injured in a school bus crash on I-195 in Wall Township on Thursday, Holmdel Mayor Brian Foster said.

The crash occurred around 7:30 a.m. on I-195 East in Wall Township, according to NJ State Police Sgt. Jeffrey Lebron.

Based on a preliminary investigation, Lebron said a GMC van and a Chevrolet school bus were traveling east on I-195 when the front of the GMC struck the rear of the bus, causing it to overturn.
