Holmdel Swim Club Sets Opening Date For 2023 Season

HOLMDEL, NJ - Holmdel residents, prepare your towels and sunscreen: an opening date has been set for the Holmdel Swim Club this year.

The swim club is slated to open on May 27 for the 2023 season, according to the township’s January 2023 newsletter.

Hours of operation will be 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on weekdays. The swim club will also be open on weekends from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. until June 24, the township said.

The club consists of four pools (main, dive, intermediate and baby), locker rooms, playground, basketball court, full-service snack bar, free Wi-Fi, free parking, themed weeks and DJ nights, as well as a separate swim team as well as a dive team. The club also touts brand-new updated tennis courts and a new 1-meter diving board just in time for the season, the township said.

Registration information will be available in late February. It remains unclear whether pricing for residents will be raised as the township committee has yet to vote on the rates for the season. Last year, preseason rates started at $650 for families, $375 for individuals and $175 for seniors. The same rates were in effect in 2021, Patch previously reported.
