Kings of Leon Forced to Cancel Thursday Night Concert After Bus Accident

The Kings of Leon were scheduled to play last night at the PNC Bank Arts Center, but were forced to cancel after a tour bus accident.

Kings of Leon were forced to cancel their Thursday night summer tour date at the PNC Bank Arts Center after a tour bus accident, NJ.com is reporting.

The popular rock band from Tennessee were scheduled to play in Holmdel on August 28 but the band’s tour bus was involved in an accident after a pedestrian jumped in front of the vehicle on August 10. According to the group’s Facebook page, the band was en route to their hotel after their show in Boston when the incident occurred.

The drummer of the band, Nathan Followill, is reported to have suffered broken ribs after the tour bus was forced to stop short to avoid hitting the pedestrian. The band has canceled nine shows of their Mechanical Bull Tour, according to Live Nation, while Followill is under doctor’s orders to rest.
