The Yankees recently exercised their 2025 club option to keep Boone as the team manager following a World Series loss against the LA Dodgers in October.
This will be Boone’s eighth season as the Yankees’ manager. He is the third Yankees manager to make the playoffs in six of his first seven seasons with the club.
“I am grateful for the trust placed in me to lead this team,” Boone said in a statement. “It’s a responsibility – and an opportunity — that I will never take lightly.”
