Monmouth Co. Had 570 Additional COVID-19 Cases: See Town-By-Town

MONMOUTH COUNTY, NJ — There were 570 new positive cases of COVID-19 this week reported in Monmouth County between Monday and Thursday, County Commissioner Director Thomas A. Arnone and County Commissioner Deputy Director Susan M. Kiley announced.

During the same time period, the county also reported no new deaths related to COVID-19.

Middletown reported the most number of new positive cases in the county (11.8 percent of the total), followed by Howell (8.6 percent) and Manalapan (7.9 percent).

Every single New Jersey county now has a "high" level of transmission — including Monmouth —, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

The County Commissioners and the Monmouth County Health Department are reminding residents to do their part to slow the spread by following the updated Center for Disease Control guidelines.

The County has COVID-19 vaccines available at Brookdale Community College with no appointment necessary on Tuesdays from 2 to 6 p.m. Vaccines are available for residents who are at least 12 years old and live, work or attend school in Monmouth County.

Those who are eligible for the third dose of the vaccine can also go to the Brookdale vaccination site, bringing their vaccine cards with them.
