Monmouth Schools To Offer Yoga Wellness Workshop Wednesday
Wednesday's yoga workshop will guide attendees through exercises focused on dealing with trauma in uncertain times.
MONMOUTH COUNTY, NJ — Monmouth County Schools Partnership for Wellness this month is offering three virtual workshops aimed at helping students and parents continue to weather the pandemic.
The yoga class, titled "Trauma Informed Yoga to Sustain Social Emotional Learning during Uncertain Times," will be held from 4 to 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Those hoping to attend can sign up using the QR code below.
The class will be taught by counselor and yoga teacher Stephanie Siciliano. During the class, she will discuss the impact of trauma on the brain and how to use breath, movement and meditation to deal with trauma.

Siciliano will also lead participants through grounding techniques and self-care practices.
